DAY1
Arrival in El Chaltén
Transfer into El Chaltén, Argentina's trekking capital, with an easy orientation walk to the viewpoint above town.
DAY2
Laguna de los Tres trek
A full-day trek to the base of Fitz Roy, with lunch beside a glacial lake and (weather permitting) postcard views of the peak.
DAY3
Rest day & condor walk
A lighter day exploring nearby trails with a ranger, keeping an eye out for Andean condors overhead.
DAY4
Glacier trekking day
Crampons on for a guided walk across a Patagonian glacier, followed by a well-earned dinner back in town.
DAY5
Laguna Torre trek
Another full-day hike, this time to the base of the dramatic Cerro Torre spire.
DAY6
Free day in El Chaltén
A flexible day to rest, browse the town's craft breweries, or add an optional horseback ride.
DAY7
Estancia visit
A day trip to a working Patagonian sheep estancia for an asado lunch with the family who runs it.
DAY8
Departure
A final mountain breakfast before your transfer to El Calafate airport.
